Winberie’s Celebrates 40th Anniversary

Since 1984, Winberie’s Restaurant & Bar has served as a beloved gathering spot for the Princeton, New Jersey, community. Thank you for celebrating with us and making our spring events, including our 40th Anniversary Party, a huge success!

The celebration keeps rolling with “rewind dishes” to our menu that showcase guest favorites from the past. Coming up in August, don’t miss the Jersey Shore Seafood Boil with Local Corn & Tomatoes and a lookback at some of the most popular Fettucine & Linguine dishes in September. We’ll also feature more local distiller-inspired cocktails, collaboration brews and tap takeovers from partners who are helping us mark this milestone.

    • Celebrate our friends at Icarus Brewing with a month-long tap takeover! Enjoy six fresh brews during the month of June!
    • WinbIcarus Double IPA Anniversary Brew is tapped and ready exclusively for us! Don’t miss out on toasting a glass of WinbIcarus to 40 years in Princeton and the amazing new relationships, like Icarus Brewery, that we’ve made along the way.
    • Fly close to the sun with us and Icarus for a Summer Solstice Happy Hour from 3:00 p.m. until sunset on Thursday, June 20th. Representatives from Icarus will be joining us for this special happy hour to share their Icarus story, offer samples and raffle off t-shirts & other prizes.

  • Bolero Snort Brewery Partnership
    • Honoring our friends at Bolero Snort with a month long tap takeover dedicating four taps to their signature Smoothie & Pastry Sours!
  • Winberie’s 40th Anniversary Bash
    • Enjoy Winberie’s Summer Cookout menu, live music, libations from our beer and spirits partners, raffles and more on July 14th from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

⏪ Rewind Dish of the Month – Dutch’s Meats Anniversary Burger

We’ll commemorate some original Winberie’s Burger combinations throughout July using a rich & delicious anniversary burger blend from our longtime meat purveyor, Dutch’s Meats.

August
  • New Trail Brewery Partnership
    • Slow down a bit during the dog days of Summer and visit us for a month=long New Trail Brewery Tap Takeover where one of our favorites, New Trail Broken Heels Hazy IPA gets a few “tap-mates” for you to enjoy. You can even compare their creations with some special beer flights. Five of the tap takeover brews will be exclusive only to us here in New Jersey. How did we get this honor? We’re New Trail’s second highest seller of their beer in the Garden State—just sayin’! 😉
    • We’ll also host a New Trail representative for an extended Happy Hour on Friday, August 23rd. They’ll talk about their brews and have a few for you to try.
  • Back To School
    • It was late August in 1984 that we first experienced the energy of Princeton University’s fall semester. Since then, the students & faculty have provided a special collegiate feeling here at Winberie’s. To honor that chapter of our 40-year story, we’re throwing a Back-to-School Party (including a Happy Hour fit for a Tiger) on Friday, August 30th, complete with giveaways and back-to-school snacks for the kid in all of us.

The Garden State is the envy of all with the amazing summertime produce AND the Atlantic beaches where local Littleneck Clams and Barnegat Lighthouse Scallops has given our kitchen the inspiration for Winberie’s Summer Seafood Specials throughout the years.
